//Ohrwurm der Woche// Ground Level - Slow Down

Wir sind Ground Level, eine vierköpfige Reggae/Dub-Rock-Gruppe aus Virginia Beach, VA. Die Ursprünge der Gruppe begannen im Juli 2019, mit Matt Sierawski an der Akustikgitarre/Gesang, der Gruppen wie Rebelution Pepper und Tribal Seeds coverte. Mit der Hinzufügung von Drake Montalbano am Bass und Kevin Garcia am Schlagzeug war die Band bereit, die Dinge auf die nächste Ebene zu bringen und begann, ihre eigene Musik zu schreiben. Der Band fehlte noch ein Schlüsselelement für ihren Sound und so rekrutierte sie Monk with the Funk, der Keyboard und Synthesizer spielt. Mit eigenen Songs in Arbeit, veröffentlichte die Band im Mai 2021 ihre erste Single "Count on You".

We are Ground Level, a four piece reggae/dub rock group hailing from Virginia Beach, VA. The origins of the group began in July of 2019, with Matt Sierawski on acoustic guitar/vocals covering groups such as Rebelution Pepper and Tribal Seeds. With the additions of Drake Montalbano on bass Kevin Garcia on drums, the band was ready to take things to the next level and started writing their own original music. The band was still missing a key element to their sound and thus recruited Monk with the Funk to play keyboard and synthesizer. With original songs in the works, the band released their first Single "Count on You" in May 2021.
